Obituary

WEBSTER – Robert R. “Biff” Leboeuf, Sr., 75, of Ash Street, died Saturday, October 8, 2011 in Rose Monahan House, Worcester, after an illness.

He leaves his wife of 53 years and love of his life, Alice E. (Plummer) Leboeuf; 3 children, Deborah L. Raymond and her husband Kenneth of Webster, Denise L. Camerano and her husband Stephen of Oxford, and Robert R. Leboeuf, Jr. and his wife Katrina of Millbury; Gramp’s 12 grandchildren are Tracy Raymond, Angela Menard, Katie Raymond, Samantha Labossiere, Elizabeth Cusson, Kaitlyn Sherwood, Jeffrey Labossiere, Cassie Camerano, and James, Stephanie, Nicholas and Brandon Leboeuf; his 7 great grandchildren are Emily, Gabriella, Ashlynn, Jacob, Robert, Lillianna and Hunter; a brother, Ronald Leboeuf and his wife Carol of Webster; a sister, Lorraine Dulude of Leesburg, FL; 2 sisters-in-law, Edith (Plummer) Crowley of Oxford and Donna Marie Plummer of Webster; a sister-in-law, Betty Ann (Plummer) Fontaine whom he raised; nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his brother Arthur and by his sister-in-law Corinne (Plummer) Vadnais and Carol A. (Plummer) Cichowski.

He was born in Webster, a son of Arthur and Agnes (Kozlowski) Leboeuf and lived here all his life. He graduated from St. Anne’s Elementary School and attended Bartlett High School.

He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Mr. Leboeuf was the maintenance supervisor at Colonial Greeting Card Company and then at the Town of Webster sewerage treatment plant before he retired.

He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. He was a motorcycle enthusiast during his bachelorhood. His second homes were the French River and Webster Lake, where he loved to fish. He enjoyed yard work and repairing things. His favorite pastime was helping his family and friends.

Bob’s family wishes to send special thanks to Dr. Gil at the Emergency Dept. of Harrington at Hubbard, to Dr. Sarah McGee, the second floor Critical Care Unit at Memorial Hospital, the VNA of Webster and the Rose Monahan Hospice Home.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, October 22, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main Street. The Webster-Dudley Veterans Council will perform the military honors at the church after the Mass. A calling period will be from 8:15 to 10:15 AM Saturday, October 22, in the funeral home. Donations in his name may be made to either Saint Anne Elementary School, 12 Day Street, PO Box 818, or to Webster-Dudley Veterans Council, Veterans Way, both in Webster, MA 01570.
