Terence J. McGonagle age 90 of Milton, formerly of Charlestown passed away October 9th at the Hancock Park Nursing Center in Quincy. Born and raised in Charlestown he graduated from Commerce High School and was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a retired member of the Boston Fire Department. Terry was one of the founding fathers of Boston Firefighters Credit Union and the first CEO a position he held for 42 years. In 2007 The Boston Firefighters Credit Union held a very special ceremony for Terry and dedicated the building to him. There is a plaque in the lobby with his name on it. Beloved husband of the late Mary T. (Kearns). Father of Mary Anderson & her husband Raymond of Dedham, Margaret Foley & her husband Richard of Braintree, Carole Condon & her husband Patrick of Weymouth & Eileen Rielly & her husband Donald of E. Sandwich. Brother of Mary Burns of Mashpee. Also survived by 8 grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday 4-8pm. Funeral mass at St. Pius X Church Milton Friday morning at 11. Interment New Calvary Cemetery.
