FRASSO, John J. of Winthrop, passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital on October 9, 2011. He was 89. He was the beloved husband of the late Rita M. (Kelly) Frasso. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Anselmo and Maddalena (Cioppa) Frasso. He was the father of the late John E. Frasso. Dear brother of the late Angela DiNunzio, Susan DeSantis, Carmella Frasso, and Nicholas Frasso. Dear cousin of Louise McGoldrick of Allston, Alfonse Frasso of Allston and Anthony Frasso of N.H. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held on Weds. October 12, in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St. Winthrop at 12pm. Please go directly to church. Box 758517 Topeka, KS, 66675. John was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. He was a graduate of Texas A&M. Prior to his retirement, John worked as an Engineer for the Stone and Webster Engineering Firm.
