Kenny Nelson, 37, of Fitzgerald died February 29, 2004 at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald with Rev. Lester Anthony officiating. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00, Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Nelson was born December 18, 1966, in Miami Florida to Sheila Nelson and the late Murray Edward Nelson. He was raised in Fitzgerald and was a former Turf Manager at Hilton Head Golf Course in South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Ethel Palmer.
Mr. Nelson is survived by: 4 children: Valerie Story of Wahiawa, Hawaii, Christopher Nelson, Kayla Nelson, and Samantha Nelson, all of Savannah; mother, Sheila Nelson of Fitzgerald; sister, Reba Nelson of Valdosta, brother, Shawn Nelson of Fitzgerald; 2 half-sisters, Susan Hollingsworth of Fitzgerald and Darlene Branam of Irwin County; one half-brother, Michael Nelson of Miami, Florida.
