Obituary

WEBSTER - Anna T. Bernier, 75, formerly of Golden Heights, died Thursday, October 6, 2011 in Webster Manor.

She leaves 3 sisters, Yvette Brisbois of Plymouth, Joanne Ayres of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Carol Antos of Dudley; a brother, Leo Bernier of Edgewater, FL; several nieces and nephews, grandnieeces and grandnephews.

She was born and raised in Webster, a daughter of Leo and Antoinette (Lacasse) Bernier and lived here all her life. She attended Bartlett High School.

Miss Bernier was a cementer at Sandlerette Shoe for 23 years and then at B & W Footwear Company for 15 years before retiring in 1991.

She was a communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and a weekly adorer at the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. She was a member and past president of the Circle of Charity. She also belonged to the Daughters of Isabella Circle #709, where she held the office of inner guard.

The funeral will be held Friday, October 14, from Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at l0:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main Street. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 8:30 to 9:30 AM Friday, October 14, in the funeral home. Donations in her name may be made to either Saint Anne’s Elementary School, 12 Day St., PO Box 818, or to the Saint Vincent de Paul Society, c/o Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 18 East Main Street, both in Webster, MA 01570.
