WORCESTER-Lorraine V. (Dubois) O’Connor, 89, of Worcester, died Wednesday, October 5th in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband, William F. O’Connor, died in 2006. She leaves a brother, Roderick Dubois of New Bedford; two sisters, Elaine Brown and Elle Quinlan of Canada; a step-brother, James E. Dubois, Sr. of Worcester; her companion, Walter Keene of Worcester; and her best friend of 40 years, Loretta Deery of Worcester. Her son, Donald F, Aubrey, died in 1993 and a brother, Robert W. Dubois, died in 1977.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of William and Irene E. (Bishop) Dubois and was a housekeeper at St. Vincent Hospital for many years.
A calling hour will be held Wednesday, October 12th from Noon until 1:00 P.M. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. A committal service will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden Street, Worcester, MA 01606.
