Port Charlotte, FL.-Carmelle Janelle, 86, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011 at The Courtyard of Horizon.
She was born on July 17, 1925 the daughter of Norbert and Rose (Fortin) Goyette.
She graduated from St. Anthony High School in 1943.
Carmelle was a devoted wife and mother and an accomplished seamstress. After the death of her beloved Leon in 1970, she worked as a bookkeeper for Boucher Stitching while attending classes at Hesser Business College. Later she worked as a clerk at Precourt Pharmacy and before retiring she was employed with Stage One Productions Co. in Manchester.
After moving to Florida in 2003 she enjoyed carefree living and the sunny climate.
Carmelle will be remembered by all who knew her as a very sweet and loving lady.
She is survived by her son Gerard and his wife Annette of Punta Gorda, FL.; daughter Denise Berglund and her husband Mark of Londonderry; three grandchildren, Kathryn (Janelle) VonFeldt of Oak Ridge, NC, Julie and Jennifer Berglund of Londonderry; two sisters Rita Langlois and Sr. Germaine Goyette, CSC..
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM at the J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St..
