
Idea Katherine “Patsy” Skinner, 88, passed away on Oct. 5, 2011 at the Seacoast Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Walton F. Skinner.
She was born in Beverly on Nov. 3, 1922, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Delia (Collins) Incampo. She graduated from Beverly High School in 1939 and the Salem Commercial School in 1941. She was very active within her community; she was the past president of the Lothrop Club Juniors in Beverly, bowled in the North Shore Merchants Bowling League since 1955, member of the Danvers Republican Town Committee and worked for Peter Torkildsen as a volunteer during his two terms in Congress. She was employed at Beneficial Finance Co. in Beverly for 37 years as the business woman’s manager.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Debra Skinner of NH and Michael and Linda Skinner of Beverly, a step-son and his wife, Bruce and Carol Skinner of ME, many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10AM on Tues., Oct. 11, 2011 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Vst. hrs are Mon. from 5-8PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to in her name to the Maple Street Congregational Church, Memory Garden, 90 Maple St., Danvers, MA, 01923.
