Ethel P. (Furey) Kelly, 74, of Natick, passed away on October 5, 2011. She was the beloved wife of Edward S. Kelly, Jr. with whom she shared 51 years of marriage.
Born in Boston, the daughter of the late Thomas and Ella (Cunningham) Furey, Ethel was raised in Watertown. She attended St. Patrick's School and was a graduate of St. Patrick's High School. Ethel was employed as an accountant at Honeywell Company where she met her husband. She later worked for Prime Computer, Computervision and then alongside her husband at their company, Keltec Associates, Inc. of Natick. A resident of Natick since 1963, Ethel was devoted to her family and enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time at her cottage in New Hampshire, where she was the Treasurer of the Belleau Lake Association.
In addition to her husband, Ethel is survived by her devoted children, Edward S. Kelly, III and his wife Kimberly D. of Sharpsburg, GA, Thomas J. Kelly and his wife Wendy M. of Westborough, Robert M. Kelly and his wife Trina A. of Natick, and Scott E. Kelly and his wife Heather E. of Natick; her cherished grandchildren, T.J., Erin, David, Sean, Caitlin, Ella, Lauren, and Shane; her brother John Furey of Natick; her sister Theresa Cousineau of Waltham; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Joe Furey, and sisters Esther Mahoney and Mary Duval.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend Ethel's funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) NATICK on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 9:00 AM to be followed by her Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick's Church, Natick at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Natick. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 from 4-8 PM.
