Manchester– Suzanne M. Roy, 85 died October 1, 2011 at Maple Leaf Healthcare following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Montreal, PQ. Canada on May 26, 1926 the daughter of Loida and Jeanne (Larose) Fleurent and had been a resident of Manchester for many years.
Prior to her retirement she had worked in the Chicopee Mills as well as the Habitant Soup Company.
She was a long time parishioner of St. Augustin Parish.
She was predeceased by her husband Armand Roy who died on October 21, 1996.
Family members include two sons, Michael A. Roy of Goffstown, Daniel J. Roy of Manchester; two daughters, Ginette Harvell of Indianapolis, IN, Sylvie Kowack of Manchester; six grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sisters of the Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge St. Manchester, NH 03104.
