Obituary

Anita C. (David) Amirault, 88, of Manchester died October 3, 2011 at her home after a period of declining health.
She was born in Port Felix, Nova Scotia, Canada on July 2, 1923 to Walter and Lucille (Fougere) David. She lived in Manchester for many years.
She was a communicant of the former St. George Catholic Church and enjoyed visiting at the Precious Blood Monastery, both in Manchester.
Mrs. Amirault was proud of her Acadian heritage. She was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed dances at the French American Victory Club in Waltham, MA.
The family includes her husband of 61 years, Harold Amirault of Manchester; five children, Linda Kleinschmidt and her husband, Ralf, of Hooksett, Lucille Amirault-Gauld and her husband, Tom Gauld, and Louise Wall and her husband, James, all of Manchester, Ray Amirault and his fiancee, Bonnie Breton, of Rochester, and JoAnn Paris and her husband, Richard, of Manchester; 10 grandchildren and one great grandson; a sister, Dorothy Benoit of Nova Scotia; a sister in law, Gertrude David of Nova Scotia; and cousins, nieces, nephews, in laws and friends in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Canada.
She was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters.
The family wishes to thank the dedicated staffs at VNA Home Healthcare and the New England Heart Institute at Catholic Medical Center for the care they provided to Anita.
SERVICES: Calling hours are Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester. The funeral was held Friday, October 7, 2011 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester. The Rev. Adrien Longchamps officiated.
