Thomas C. Rae, Jr., 66, of Lake Mary, Fl. died suddenly while visiting family in Colorado. He was born on August 2, 1945 in Manchester, NH, where he was raised and educated. He retired in 2001 from AT&T after many years of service. He was passionate about golf, working in his yard, and travel with his wife, and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Susan (Howard) Rae, four children, Cheryl Grijalva and her husband Adam, of Bedford, NH; Kathy Owens of Dover, NH; Jeffrey Rae and his wife, Tina of Leesburg, Fl., and Benjamin Rae and his wife, Dusty of Bayfield, Co., two granddaughters, Mia Paige and Ali Rynne Rae; a sister Susan Griffiths and her husband Jack of Winnipesaukee, NH; a step brother, Roger Paradis and his wife, Sally of Raymond, NH as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Following cremation, calling hours were held Thursday October 6, 2011 from 4 to 6 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH. A Catholic prayer service followed at 6 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Northeast Affiliate, 2 Wall Street, Manchester, NH 03101.
