Julia Ann Walsh (Sullivan) age 90 of Westwood passed away October 2nd at home. Born and raised in Mission Hill, she graduated from Mission High School. She lived in Jamaica Plain for many years before moving to Westwood in 1983. She worked in the Admitting Office of New England Baptist Hospital for many years before retiring as the Director of Admissions. In her later years Julia enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, her activities at the Julia Ruth House in Westwood, crossword puzzles and reading. Beloved wife of the late Thomas E. Sr. Mother of Thomas E. Jr. & his wife Susan of Westwood. Grandmother of Julia & Edward Walsh. Sister of Helen Manning of W. Roxbury & the late Dennis, Eugene, John, Patrick, Daniel, Richard & Francis Sullivan. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Relatives and friends invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas Church 97 South St. Jamaica Plain Thursday morning at 10. Visiting hours omitted, burial private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice.
