Vivian P. Wills, 95, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, October 3, 2011, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 P.M., Wednesday, October 5, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with Brother David Bohler officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 until 4:30 at the funeral home. Additional funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, October 9, 2011 at the Sandborn United Methodist Church in Sandborn, Indiana with the Rev. Tom Anderson officating. Friends may call on the family from 1-2 P.M. on Sunday at the church. Interment will be held at Sandborn Cemetery in Sandborn, Indiana.
Mrs. Wills was born October 12, 1915 in Odon, Indiana to the late Edgar D. and Olive Miller Meek. She was formerly of Sandborn, Indiana where she had lived for most of her life. She had lived in Fitzgerald for the past three years. Mrs. Wills was a former member of Sandborn United Methodist Church, a former member, music director and Sunday school teacher at Odon Nazarene Church in Odon, Indiana and attended the Fitzgerald Nazarene Church.
She is survived by her children: Kay W. Batton of Fitzgerald, Stephen (Joellyn) Wills of Mahomet, IL and Sara Wills of Lyons, IN; 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Malone Wills, a daughter, Nancy Jean Lake, three brothers and three sisters.
