
PIZZOLATO, Victor Anthony, of Sagamore Beach, MA and Westchester County, NY, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2011, at Bourne Manor Extended Care Facility, Bourne, MA, surrounded by his loving family and devoted caregivers. He was born January 12, 1929, to Biagio and Giuseppina Pizzolato (Bruno) in Brooklyn, NY. Beloved husband for 60 years of Marie Pizzolato (Sparacino). Cherished father of Biagio and his partner Raymond L’Heureux of Sagamore Beach, Victor J. and his wife Debra of Sedona, AZ, John and his wife Lisa of North Salem, NY, JoAnne of Carmel, NY, and Veronica and her husband Rolf Hildinger of Carmel, NY. Adoring brother of the late Veronica Salerno, wife of the late Mauro Salerno, and loving uncle to their children, Laura and Joseph of Queens, NY. He is survived by grandsons Victor, Robert and Nicholas, sons of Janis Pizzolato (Burpee), and also granddaughter Erica, many loving relatives and a multitude of lifelong friends.
He served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War. A graduate of Princeton University, class of 1949, and proud partner of Merchandising Display Corporation of Manhattan, NY and Englewood Cliffs, NJ, and Scarborough Associates of Westchester, NY, Victor was a devoted family-man, and also avid golfer and member of Westchester Hills Golf Club. He loved all animals, especially his many beloved pets. All are invited to attend a Mass celebrating his life that will be offered on Friday, October 14, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 481 Quaker Rd., North Falmouth, MA, at 11 AM. Interment will follow at the National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. Remembrances may be made in his honor to Bourne Manor Extended Care Facility or the VNA Hospice of Cape Cod.
