Margaret R. Weight, 93, formerly of Clarks Summit, died at home Monday. She was preceded in death by her husband, William.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late John and Emma Grooms. She graduated from Scranton Technical High School and was employed as a secretary. She worked full-time until the age of 74, when she retired from Holy Family Residence. She was a member of the Clarks Summit First Presbyterian Church. She loved watching baseball and cooking shows and enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching her great-grandchildren grow.
She had a great love for animals, especially dogs. She was a kind, hard-working woman who never complained and was always content. She had a great sense of humor and was liked by all who knew her. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
She is survived by a daughter, Suzanne Pringle; a granddaughter, Storm Talluto and husband, Vincent; and four great-grandchildren, Vincent, Christopher, Audrey and Natalie, all of Dickson City. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Kenneth Pringle.
