FALL RIVER … Anne (Pogubila) Rozycki, 92, of Fall River passed away, Friday, September 23, 2011, at Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Care Center.
She was the widow of Metric Rozycki.
She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late John and Nancy (Hryciw) Pogubila and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
She worked as a sales clerk for the former Wilbur’s for over 20 years.
She was a communicant of Good Shepard Parish, South Main Street, Fall River.
Mrs. Rozycki was a member of the Green Valley Golf Course in Portsmouth and was an avid golfer. She enjoyed cooking, reading, crocheting, watching the cooking channel, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include a son Robert P. Rozycki of Fall River, several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph and Raymond Pogubila, Mary Witkowski, Alice Showsky, and Sophie Stec.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Wednesday at 9AM from the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway, Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at Good Shepard Parish, South Main Street, Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be Tuesday 5 – 8 PM.
