CAPITANIO, Aileen (McCarthy) – Of Mansfield formerly of Dedham on September 22, 2011 after a brief illness lovingly surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Mark Capitanio. Cherished mother of Mark Capitanio and Jessica Capitanio of Mansfield. Loving daughter of Mary J. McCarthy of Walpole formerly of Dedham and the late Richard H. McCarthy. Dear sister of Patricia Black and her husband J. Edward of Walpole, Janice Lane and her husband John of Attleboro, Kathy Hickson and her husband Joe of Foxboro, Robert J. McCarthy of Mansfield, Debbie Meighan and her husband Paul of Walpole, Brian J. McCarthy and his wife Laura of Norwood and the late Richard, Thomas, Maureen and Marianne McCarthy. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, 2 great-nieces and her devoted dog Georgie.
Late graduate of Dedham High School class of 1981. Late credit manager of Atlantic Poly of Norwood. Aileen was an avid reader and a huge Patriots fan. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends who were blessed to have had a woman who pursued life to its fullest in their lives.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St. DEDHAM, Tuesday, September 27th at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Monday, September 26th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Interment Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
