Obituary

Worcester – Lynda L. Richard, 54, of Worcester, died unexpectedly on September 12th in her home.

Lynda is survived by her daughter Faith M. Looney of Spencer; her mother Patricia (Colby) Richard of Worcester; a brother David Richard of Waterboro, ME; two sisters Tina Richard and Lisa Richards of Worcester; two grandsons Brennan and Kellen Looney and many nephews and nieces.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Edward Richard and is also predeceased by a brother John Richard. Lynda served in the United States Air Force as well as the Army National Guard.

Lynda is a graduate of the Worcester Girls Trade – David Fanning High School and worked for the David Clark Company as well as many local retail stores in the Worcester area.

She enjoyed doing crafts, reading books, shopping and the theater. Lynda was also an avid fan of the New England Patriots but was most happy when she was spending time with her two grandchildren Brennan and Kellen of whom she adored.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 6 to 8 PM on Monday, September 26th in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. to celebrate Lynda’s life. Private burial will take place in Notre Dame Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may made in Lynda’s memory to either the Worcester Animal Rescue League 139 Holden Street Worcester, MA 01606 or to the Massachusetts Shelter for Veterans 69 Grove Street Worcester, MA 01605.
