Normandin, William F. "Bill" of Weymouth, formerly of Lowell passed away September 20, 2011 doing what he loved, playing golf.
Beloved husband of Virginia "Ginny'” (Gorman) Normandin of Weymouth. Devoted brother of Frances Blake of Lowell, Dennis Normandin and his wife Barbara of Chelmsford and James Normandin of Lowell. Cherished cousin of Deborah Cassin of Chelmsford, Florence "Peach" Gillespie of Westerly, RI and Joan Mann of East Longmeadow. Bill was also survived by several nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Bill was educated in Lowell where he lived most of his life before settling in Weymouth. Bill worked as a typesetter for The Composing Room of New England (Machine Composition) in Boston for 40 years before retiring. He was a member of the Weymouth Eagles Club and the Weymouth Elks. Bill was a man with a good sense of humor who truly had a zest for life. Bill was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing cards with friends, cooking and occasional trips to Foxwoods. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-4PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 11 AM.
