WEBSTER - Noreen B. (Adams) Wright, 64, of Webster, died Monday, September 19, 2011 at home after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 42 years, Robert J. Wright; 2 sons, Stephen J. Wright of Webster and Marc R. Wright and his wife Stephanie of Southbridge; her mother, June G. Adams of Southbridge; 2 grandchildren, Jeremy T. Wright and Leah M. Wright; 5 brothers, Dwight, Tom, Gary, Kurt and Sam Adams; 2 sisters, Lynn Welker and Kristen Gordon; many nieces and nephews.
She was born in Pittsfield and raised in Hinsdale, the oldest child of John H. and June G. (Galeucia) Adams. She graduated from Wahconah Regional High School in Dalton in 1965. She lived in Pittsfield before moving to Southbridge in 1979. She moved to Webster in 1989.
Mrs. Wright was a claims representative for the Paul Revere Insurance Company in Worcester for many years, retiring in 1999.
She was a member of High Pointe Church in Thompson. She also belonged to Trade Winds in Southbridge. She enjoyed art and crafts, especially knitting.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Oct. 14 at 7:00 PM in High Pointe Church, 1208 Thompson Road, Thompson, CT. There are no calling hours. Donations in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society, Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701. Arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St., Webster.
