James E. Tatten, Jr. 74 of Franklin formerly of Medway, died September 14 in the Serenity Hill Nursing Home in Wrentham.
Born in Medway, May 30, 1937, the son of the late James E. and Catherine A. (Kirby) Tatten, Mr. Tatten was raised in Medway and had lived in Franklin for several years.
Mr. Tatten had worked for many years on the family poultry farm on Summer Street in Medway. He had also worked at a gas station in Milford later in his life.
He is survived by several cousins and also by several friends who cared for Jim in his last days.
His funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday September 21 in St. Joseph Church, Medway at 9:00.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
