Obituary

Samuel Todorich 87 fulfilled his journey on God's Heavenly earth on September 14, 2011and has been called to his next quest by our heavenly Father.As a husband and father he will be sorely missed. He was aretired truck driver for American Builders Supply Co., a union steward for Local Union #89, a retired Master Sergeant for the 100th Military Reserve with 40 years of service and a dedicated VFW member, also a member of NCOA for retirees. He mostly enjoyed bowling and golf as his primary activities.Many may remember him from Western Lanes, Thelma Lanes,Exectutive Bowl, Cane Run 76 and Parkmoor Lanes as his major venues. However, golfing was his pure joy. Shawnee Golf Course is where he started but he played many courses around the state. Since he was able to enjoy more than 20 plus years of retirement, he was able to play frequently. The par 3 Fransley Golf Course in Shively is where he played his final rounds. Samuel will be joining his parents and all ten of his brothers and sisters within God's hands. He leaves behind his loving , dedicated and caring wife, Dovie Todorich and the rest of his immediate family ; Beverly (Mark) Fielden, Edward (Debra) Todorich, Donna Todorich Sutherland, Sue (Eddie) Bagwell and Michael (Glenna) Todovich. He also enjoyed his eight grandchildren and his two great-grandchildren. His funeral will be 1 pm Monday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Entombment at Evergreen Mausoleum. Visitation will be 2pm to 8pm Saturday and 2pm to 6pm on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, Dovie Todorich is requesting donations be made to Hosparus of Louisville, the Humane Society for Animals or the Shamrock Foundation. Please keep the family in your prayers.
