Eileen M. (McClintock) Woods, 57, of Franklin died September 14 at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of William H. Woods, Jr.
Born in Boston, June 13, 1954, the daughter of the late John G. and Anne (Horne) McClintock, Mrs. Woods was raised in Roslindale and had lived in Franklin for the past 34 years.
Mrs. Woods had been a Licensed Practical Nurse at several area nursing homes.
She had been active in the Special Olympics.
Helping and caring for her family was the
biggest part of her life.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Sean P. Woods of Natick and Colleen A. and Meghan E. Woods, both of Franklin.
She is also survived by her siblings, Richard McClintock and his wife Eileen of Las Vegas, Nevada, John McClintock and his wife Cynthia of Bloomfield, Connecticut, Dorothy McClintock of Highland, Maryland, Tom McClintock and his wife Maura of Norwood, Bruce McClintock and his wife Mary of Walpole, Margaret Anne Schievink and her husband Bruce of Franklin and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 20 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. in Franklin at 9:15 followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:30 p.m.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
