Hingham – Helen “Jeanne” (Slamin) Pinel 85, died peacefully on September 15, 2011 in Hingham after a long illness.
Born in Framingham, Jeanne was formerly of Cape Cod and Warwick, RI.
She was the beloved widow of David L. Pinel and devoted mother of Suzanne Kay and her husband George, and Bruce Pinel and his wife Sally. She was the loving grandmother of Kris Kouyate, Melissa Steves, Rebecca Cram, Matthew Kay, Alyssa Mandeville and the late Melanie Pinel; great grandmother of ten and the late Madison Mandeville, and sister of Joanne Saunders. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jeanne graduated from Hingham High School and worked for the phone company before raising her family.
The sparkle in her eyes and her dry sense of humor will be missed.
