TEWKSBURY - Carol A. (Tisbert) Newell, age 45, died Tuesday afternoon, September 13, at the New England Medical Center in Boston, unexpectedly but peacefully, surrounded by her family, after suffering an apparent cerebral aneurism on Monday. She spent Sunday with her immediate and extended family at the wedding celebration of her brother and his new bride, and spent the entire afternoon into the evening dancing and singing, and enjoying life to the fullest, surrounded by the people she so deeply loved.
She was born in Methuen, February 3, 1966, one of seven children of Norman L. and Jean C. (Thibault) Tisbert. She was raised in Andover, MA, and lived in Concord, NH, before returning to Tewksbury five years ago.
In addition to her love for dancing and singing, she was also an animal advocate and loved horseback riding.
Besides her parents, she is survived by a son, Casey B. Newell of Tewksbury; six sisters and brothers, Norman L. Tisbert Jr., and his wife Robin of Sandown, NH, James M. Tisbert and his wife Jill of Deerfield, NH, Brenda J. Pomierski and her husband Walter of East Hampstead, NH, Daniel R. Tisbert and his wife Deborah of Deerfield, NH, William L. Tisbert and his wife Lynn of Salisbury, MA, Jean M. Ciriello and her husband James of Danville, NH; thirteen nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
