Lawrence: Mr. George “Russ” Russell Cahalane Jr., 71, of Lawrence died Sunday in his home. Born in Lawrence Mr. Cahalane had been an area resident all his life. Mr. Cahalane served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. He was retired as a dispatcher for Andover Fire Department. As a parishioner of St Patrick Parish, Mr. Cahalane was involved in the Boy and Girl Scouts, he also participated in the Civil Air Patrol, the Twenty Seven Lancers Drum and Bugle Corps, and Chieftains Drum and Bugle Corps. The Widow of Linda (Custeau) Cahalane and father of the late Sean Cahalane he is survived by:

Meaghan LaDuke of Concord, NC
1 Son Jeremy Custeau and his wife Michelle of Billerica, MA
there are 9 grandchildren, 8 Great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at11:00 am on Thursday August 4th at St Patrick Church. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery.
