Diane Ruth Perry died peacefully on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London CT after a brief illness.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Bernard J. Perry and his daughter Leeanne Perry, her five sons Mark, Philip, David, Richard and Donald Rosetta and her daughter Candace Mavaro. She also leaves eleven grandchildren and 4 great grand children and many other relatives and friends.
Diane raised her six children in Old Lyme Ct. then moved to Pawcatuck and met "Bernie" Perry of Stonington Ct. The two married in 1972 and settled on the Perry family farm in Stonington where they experienced a happy life together. They enjoyed boating and fishing trips around New England with family and friends as well as cross country trips. Mrs. Perry was an accomplished artist who excelled in oil and watercolor painting. Her life long motto was "Art is mans nature…Nature is God's art." Diane will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00m on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 530 Providence New London Turnpike (Rte 184) North Stonington, Connecticut.
