Dennis C. Greenhalgh, 43 of Derry, NH, passed away Monday May 2, 2011 in Londonderry. He was born June 17, 1967 in Methuen, MA, and was a son of the late James and Claire (Walker) Greenhalgh. Dennis was raised and educated in Salem, and was a graduate of Salem High School. Mr. Greenhalgh was a carpenter, and was employed for many years with A.P. Dailey Co. of Windham. He was a 10 year resident of Pelham, prior to moving to Derry 4 years ago. He enjoyed fishing, cars and was an avid collector of WWII memorabilia. Dennis will long be remembered as a loving father, brother and friend, who truly loved spending time with his beloved children.
In his life; he is survived by two children, son, Devon and daughter Lindsey, both of Windham, two brothers, Richard Greenhalgh of Derry, and James Greenhalgh of Salem, two sisters, Dianne Nazzaro of Hooksett, and Linda Simmons of Barnstead, nephew Derek Greenhalgh of E. Hampstead, and several other nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held on Saturday May 7, 2011, from 2 to 4 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A funeral service followed at 4pm in the funeral home.
