Nellie (Venskus) Gill, 90, died Saturday, April 9 at the New England Sinai Hospital after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Charles Gill. Born in Hyde Park, she was raised in Norwood and a graduate of Norwood Schools. Mrs. Gill was a resident of Stoughton since 1950. She was a dedicated mother and homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, spending time with her pets, her family and keeping up on current events.
She is survived by her two sons; Charles A. Gill and his wife Ellen of Stoughton and Russell E. Gill and his wife Fay of West Newbury. She was the grandmother of Timothy Gill, Jennifer Ridolfi and Alexander Gill. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter Cynthia Gill and her siblings; Genevieve Lans, Andrew and Benjamin Venskus. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Wednesday, April 13 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM.
