Obituary

Leicester - Edith M. (Wamback) Rudman, 98, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2011, surrounded by her loving family at the Meadows at Leicester. Her husband, Alfred G. Rudman, died in 1977. She leaves her son Richard A. Rudman and his wife Jane of Princeton; daughter Norma of Dudley; six grandchildren: Terry Soucie, Tammy Burke, Tina Cobb, Karen Gentili, Eric Rudman, and Joshua Rudman; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Donald A. Rudman as well as a brother and 2 sisters. She was born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada, daughter of Maude J. (Haughn) and Norman A. Wamback. In her earlier years, she was a librarian in Williamstown, VT. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church, Worcester.

The family would like to thank the Staff of The Meadows for their loving care of Edith throughout her many years there.

Calling hours will be held TODAY, Tuesday, March 29, from 6-8 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30, in the funeral home. Burial will follow in All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church, 10 Irving Street, Worcester MA 01609 or the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham MA 01701.
