Obituary

Joseph Gerald Paul Laney, Jr., 62, Clarksville, died Monday, August 9, 2010, at his residence.
A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Friday at Trenton First Assembly of God Church, Trenton, KY with Pastor Mike Dorsey officiating.
Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - West. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service Friday at the church.

Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He was born January 5, 1948 in Skowhegan, Maine, son of the late Joseph Gerald Paul Laney, Sr. and Madeline Brown Laney. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Laney and niece, Amy Gallant.
He grew up in Skowhegan, Maine. He was a member of Trenton First Assembly of God Church and worked as service manager for Clayton Homes. He was a veteran of the US Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Marie Davis Laney, Clarksville; two sisters, Kathy Zaiser (John Jr.), Skowhegan, Maine; and Lori Gallant, Madison, Maine; nephew, Benjamin Zaiser, Richmond, VA; nieces, Karen Zaiser Dan, Richardson, TX, Kecia Gallant, Agusta, Maine; Great-niece, Anai' S. Dane; two step-sons, Brad Lainer (Tracy), Pulaski, TN; and Richard Johnson (Leslie), Knoxville, TN; step-daughter, Reneigh Tucker, Pulaski, TN; and seven grandchildren, Alli, Dillon, and Jake Lainer; Amber Robertson, Travis Tucker, Nicholas Johnson, and Heather Johnson.
Pallbearers will be Rick Vaughan, Mike Villwock, Louis Dickerson, Ricky LayField, Brad Lanier, and Larry Threlkel.
The family request memorials be made to help the family with medical bills to the Laney Memorial Fund at any branch of the Fort Campbell Credit Union.
