Dorothy L. (King) Hopkinson, 83, of Westport died Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Clifton Rehabilitative Nursing Center in Somerset. She was wife of the late Calvin C. Hopkinson.
Born in Fall River, she was daughter of the late Louis A. and Marion B. (Howland) King. Mrs. Hopkinson was a secretary for Hoyt Manufacturing Company in Westport until her retirement. She attended the Victory Baptist Church, Fairhaven.
Survivors include a son: David A. Hopkinson of Westport; 3 daughters: Sandra D. Hopkinson of Exton, PA, Stephanie L. Hopkinson of Woonsocket, RI and Susan R. Boyer of Westport; 7 grandchildren; a great grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
She was mother of the late Calvin C. Hopkinson, Jr. and sister of the late Nancy Gordon.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, March 22, 2010 at the Potter Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M.
Calling hours Sunday 5 – 8 P.M.
Interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Westport.
