SALEM - Miss Anna C. “Anne” Leszczynska, age 92, a lifelong resident of Salem, died Monday, January 4, 2010 at the Peabody Glen Health Care Center, Peabody.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Kempinska) Leszczynski. She was a graduate of the St. John The Baptist School and the Salem High School and was a lifelong parishioner of the St. John The Baptist Church, Salem.
Prior to her retirement in 1982, she was employed for 45 years by GTE Sylvania at the Boston Street, Salem plant and retired as an inspector in the quality control department. Anne was a member of the GTE Sylvania Quarter Century Club.
Anne is survived by three nieces, Barbara Myers of Hastings. Michigan, Janice Barker of Oakland, California, Terry Slimack of Fishers, Indiana, and one nephew, Ronald Ouellette of Fishers, Indiana. She was predeceased by one brother, Lucien Leszczynksi, two sisters, Jessie Moore and Sophie Ouellette, one niece, Jessie A. Banks and one nephew, Frank S. Leszczynski.
Her funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:45 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at Noon at the St. John The Baptist Church, Salem. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial is in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
