Ronnie Parker, 66, Clarksville, died Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Terry Brown and Rev. Verlon Moore officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born December 27, 1942 in Dickson County son of the late William Robert Parker and Eula McCollum Parker. Mr. Parker was a veteran of the US Marines and worked as a press technician at Copies in a Flash. He was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Connie Jo Davenport Parker, daughter, Ronda Parker Ramsey (Luther), Clarksville; brother, Gerald Parker, Brunswick, GA; three sisters, Magalene Davenport and Beatrice Shelton, both of Slayton, TN; and Claudia Davenport, Clarksville; and two grandchildren, Gabrielle and Grace Ramsey. Pallbearers will be Dan Shepherd, Troy Shepherd, Brent Parchman, Buddy Davenport, Milty Davenport, Earl Snyder, Wendell Shelton, and David Shelton. Honorary pallbearers will be Chayce and Mason Shepherd.
