Barbara Ann Carley, 48, a longtime resident of Auburn, died Thursday at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester. Barbara was born in Cumberland Rhode Island to Lorraine (Lamarine) O’Flahavan and the late James O’Flahavan. She was a graduate of the University of Lowell with a BS in Medical Technology. She had worked at the Hale Hospital in Haverill, MA as a medical technologist. Barbara was a faithful servant of the Calvary Bible Church of Derry, NH. Mrs. Carley was a woman who loved many things in life, but none more than her family. Her passions included needlepoint, classical piano music, gardening, the beach and enjoying tea with some very special friends.
Barbara leaves her devoted husband of 23 years, Douglas Carley at home, along with their three cherished children, Joshua, Michael and Sarah. She also leaves her sister, Lynne Locke of Dunstable, MA, her mother Lorraine O’Flahavan of Lowell, MA and Catherine Whelan, a very special person in her life after the death of her father at the age of 2 of Lowell, MA.
All of Barbara’s services are private at the request of the family.
