Margaret A. "Peggy" (Gillis) Guillet - Of Needham and Centerville, March 27th, beloved wife of Edward E. “Ned” Guillet; adored mother of Megan E. Guillet of Brighton, Katie G. Guillet of Santa Monica, CA and Maura A. Guillet of Medfield; beloved daughter of Barbara (Burke) Gillis of Needham and the late Donald A. Gillis; cherished sister of Donna Atwood and her husband, Philip; Richard Gillis and his wife, Toni; Gary Gillis and his wife, Lisa; and Nancy Sanderson and her husband, Derek, all of Needham; also survived by 19 nieces and nephews and her loving and loyal pug, Desmond.
Peggy’s unconditional love and support for her husband and daughters; her perpetual optimism and joy, selfless and caring nature, indomitable spirit, enduring kindness, love of life, family and children; her fierce determination and inspirational courage in her battle with cancer have left an indelible impression on all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bartholomew’s Church, Greendale Avenue, Needham, on Wed. April 1, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours omitted. Interment will be in the Needham Cemetery, Nehoiden St., Needham, In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Peggy’s memory to The New England Home for Little Wanderers, 271 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02115.
