Robert Edwin Lightfoot, 80, Clarksville, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center.
The funeral will be held at 12 Noon Tuesday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Deacon Dominick Azzara officiating.
Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West. Visitation will be from 10am until 12 noon Tuesday at the funeral home at the funeral home.
Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He was born June 18, 1928. He was the son of Henry and Mildred Lightfoot . He was preceded in death by parents and his wife Irene Lightfoot.
He was retired from the US Army having served during WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam. He also worked civil service at Ft. Campbell during Desert Storm. He recieved the Purple Heart during the Korean War.
He is survived by one son Billy Lightfoot(Angelique) of Colorado, Springs, one daughter Jeanette Beach(David) of Ashland City, one sister Lorraine Hatch(Arthur) of Florida, nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joe Lightfoot, TK Lightfoot, Christian Hughes, Aaron Isom, Johnny Beach and Joey Beach.
