Mathias Lutsch died on August 2, 2008, due to complications of Diabetes. He was born in Seibenburgen Village of Grosschogen, Transylvania, Romania on April 29, 1925, the beloved son of Mathias and Maria (Wolf) Lutsch. Following WWII, Mr. Lutsch migrated to Styler, Austria for eleven years before immigrating to the United States in 1954. He resided in Andover until 2005 at which time he moved to Pelham, New Hampshire. He worked as an offset printer at Admiral Folding Box Company until his retirement in 1991.
He leaves behind his wife of 59 years, Rosa (Toeper) Lutsch of Pelham, New Hampshire, one daughter and one son-in-law; Linda and her husband Brian Clark of Pelham, NH, two granddaughters; Marcie and her husband Jarred Martellucci of Lawrence and Kellie Clark and her fiancé Scott Burtt of Derry, NH, two grandsons; Matthew Clark and his wife, Danielle Lutsch of Hudson, NH and Keogh Lutsch of Andover, three great-grandchildren; Braydon & Cody Martellucci of Lawrence and Matthew Clark of Hudson, NH. Mr. Lutsch now joins his two sons, Roni and Helmut Lutsch and his sister, Maria (Lutsch) Helman.
His funeral service was held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, on Thursday, August 7, 2008, at 10 AM. Calling hours were in the funeral home, Wednesday, August 6, 2008, from 6 to 8 PM. Burial was in Spring Grove Cemetery, Andover.
