Natick MA— Robert A. J. Chapdelaine, 73, died March 16, 2008 at Metrowest Hospital in Natick following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Manchester on August 12, 1934 the son of Jules G. and Viola (Carpentier) Chapdelaine.
He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of American Legion Post 48 in Hudson.
He was an automobile salesman for Gladstone Ford, in Londonderry, and Bonneville, in Manchester.
He was an avid golfer.
He was predeceased by a daughter Diane Leclerc, on September 6, 2007.
In His Life: Family members include his son Robert (A.J.) Chapdelaine, and his wife, Anna, of Las Vegas NV., two daughters, Susan M. Guay, of Hooksett, Renee Whitten and her husband Mark, of Nashua, seven grandchildren, Madison and Cameron Chapdelaine, Lee Robert, and Michael Leclerc, Dillon Guay, Victoria, and Cody Whitten, one brother David Chapdelaine, of Nashua, three sisters Pauline Martel, of Manchester, Lucille Gifford, of South Carolina, Marcia Chapdelaine, of France, his former wife Ruth (Dery) Chapdelaine, of Merrimack, and a son in law Larry Leclerc, of Hudson.
Services: Calling hours will be Monday from 6 to 8 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A funeral service will take place at 8 pm following calling hours.
Burial will be in the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
