Mary Alice LaBonte, 89, of Waterman Avenue, died Sunday, September 2, 2007 at the Rehab Hospital of RI. She was the widow of Roger J. LaBonte.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Louis & Valerie (Frappier) Jutras she had been a lifelong resident of Centredale. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Lawrence Church and had been a member of the St. Ann’s Sodality.
She is survived by her children Adrian LaBonte of Mesa, AZ, Claire Balcom and her husband, David of Smithfield, Rosemarie Paul and her husband Vincent of Smithfield, Roger M. LaBonte and his wife Cheryl of Providence, Alice Clapprood and her husband Michael of Centredale, and Jeanne Clemence and her husband Carl of North Scituate, siblings Anna Cadieux of Centredale, Mary Rose Audet of Johnston, Yvette Gauvin and her husband Raymond of Johnston, brother and sisters in law Elizabeth England, Rev. Adelard LaBonte and Antoinette Vacca and her husband Michael. She was the grandmother of 25 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Alma Lacharite, Cecile Blais, Henry, Mary Jane, Ernest, Adrian, Elizabeth and Fedora Jutras.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9 am from the*ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Lawrence Church, 624 Woonasquatucket Avenue, North Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4-7pm.
