Antoinette F. (Bouffard) Powers,89, of 6 Massasoit Dr., died
Monday, August 6 at Life Care Center of Auburn.
She was the wife of Edmund F. Powers, who died in 1998. She leaves two
daughters Shirley A. LaBombard and her husband Elmer of Cherry Valley, and
Carol F. O'Leary and her husband Andrew of Leicester, four grand children
Karen Salsman and her fiancé Charles Brouillard of Cherry Valley, Mark
LaBombard and his wife Deborah of Leicester, Christine O'Leary and her
fiancé Michael Holmes of Leicester and Brian O'Leary and his wife Sherry of
Cherry Valley, nine great grandchildren Timothy, Madison, Sebastian, Camryn
and Jack O'Leary, Meghan and Ashley Salsman, Adam and Jason LaBombard,
several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by three brothers and a
sister.
She was born in No.Brookfield, the daughter of Arthur and Alice (Trudeau)
Bouffard and lived there before moving to Worcester and later to Leicester
in 1957.
Mrs. Powers worked at David Clark Co. and also the former H.H. Brown Shoe
Co. both in Worcester before retiring many years ago.
She was a member of St. Joseph Church. She also leaves her extended family,
the caring staff at Life Care Center of Auburn.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 8 from the MORRISON FUNERAL
HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's
Church, 759 Main St.,Leicester. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery,
Leicester. Calling hours are Tuesday, Aug 7 from 5 to 7p.m. In lieu of
flowers, contributions may be made to Life Care Center of Auburn Patient
Activity Fund, 14 Masonic Circle, Auburn, 01501.
