MILFORD—James M. Ferguson 46, a former longtime Franklin resident died Saturday June 2, 2007 at the Boston Medical Center, in Boston after an illness.
Born in Boston October 15, 1960 a son of James L. Ferguson of Milford and the late Patricia A. (Roddy) Ferguson, he resided in Franklin for most of his life before moving to Milford several months ago.
Educated in Boston schools and a graduate of Franklin High School, he worked with his father in running the family business Worthington Siding Company.
His interests included competitive bodybuilding which he won numerous awards for and spending time with his family and friends.
He was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous and St. Mary’s Church in Franklin.
In addition to his father, he is survived by one son Adam Ferguson of Plymouth, two daughters Shana Ferguson of Plymouth and Rosie Ferguson of Weymouth, one brother Danny Ferguson of Milford, four sisters Mary_Pat Scott of Attleboro, Joanne M. Barche of Franklin, Sarah Ferguson and Brittany Ferguson both of Milford, one step-sister Courtney Nealon of Milford and his step-mother Deborah (Nealon) Ferguson of Milford. Also surviving is his former wife Denise Ferguson of Plymouth. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Michael S. Ferguson.
The funeral will be on Friday June 8, 2007 at 8:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin (www.oterifuneral.com) with a funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. at 9AM. Interment will follow in Union Street Cemetery, Franklin.
