Worcester – Cecile C. (Poulin) Beaudin, 86, of Worcester died on Thursday, May 10 in the UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus after a long illness.
Mrs. Beaudin is survived by her husband of 59 years Urbain Beaudin; two sons Robert U. Beaudin and his fiancé Paulette Falconer of Spencer and Donald Beaudin of Worcester; a daughter Lenore R. and her husband Steven O. Young of Holden; a brother Daniel Poulin and his wife Jeannette of Spencer; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. She was born in Newport, VT daughter of Raoul and Lucia (Vachon) Poulin and is predeceased by many brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Beaudin worked with her husband in the family business Beaudin Bros. Monuments for many years. She was a member of Holy name of Jesus Church and it’s Women’s Guild. Mrs. Beaudin enjoyed crafts, bowling, playing cards, fishing, gardening, spending winters in Florida and loved entertaining the family gatherings at Stiles Lake in Spencer.
The funeral will be held on Monday, May 14 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a mass at 10 AM in Holy Name of Jesus Church 53 Illinois St. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Mausoleum. Calling hours are on Sunday, May 13 from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Beaudin’s name may be made to the Massachusetts Association for the Blind 200 Ivy Street Brookline, MA 02446.
