Obituary

Germaine L. Paulhus, 96, of 10 Rhodes Ave., North Smithfield, died Wednesday in St. Antoine Residence. She was born in St. Cleophas P.Q. Canada. She was a daughter of the late William and Georgianna (Mainville) Laferriere. She was the wife of the late Raoul Paulhus. Mrs. Paulhus was a mender for many years at the former Glenark Mills Co.
She was a member of the former Christian Group of Holy Family Church, Royal Travelers, Cercle Marie Louise, and the Fireside Club.
Mrs. Paulhus is survived by one son, Richard Paulhus, of Franklin NH, two sisters; Rose Laferriere, and Rita Carlino, both of Woonsocket, nine grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren. Of her great grandchildren, Bobby Beaven was a special child with whom she spent a great deal of time.
She was the mother of the late Donald Paulhus, and Therese Courchene, and the sister of the late William and Leo Laferriere, Jeannette Fleuette, Gilberte Boulet, Anna Bruneau, and Marie Chaput.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:00 from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 in St. Antoine Residence Chapel, 10 Rhodes Ave. N.
