Obituary

SALEM - Priscilla M. (Church) Bell, 87, of Salem, died Tuesday evening, Feb. 20, 2007, at the Grosvenor Park Nursing Home, Salem, following a long illness.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Arthur E. & Cassie (Bryer) Church. A lifelong resident of the city, she attended Bowditch School and graduated of Salem High School in 1939.

Prior to her retirement in 1993, Mrs. Bell was employed by Eaton Apothecary for almost 35 years in Marblehead and mostly in Salem, both on a part time and full time capacity, and retiring as an assistant manager.

She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Salem, the Wesley United Methodist Women, and volunteered at the House of Seven Gables. While a resident of 27 Charter Street, she started Bingo and was active in many social activities at the residence.

She is survived by one son & daughter-in-law, Robert A. & Gail Bell of Salem, two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen A. & James Jellison of Salem, Elaine P. Williams & Dennis Schulz of Irvine, CA, 5 grandchildren, Kristen Williams-Culhane, Courtney Faulk, Kerri Rhoades, Colleen Kolodziej, Kim Bell, 10 great grandchildren, one sister, Dorothea Newcomb of Salem and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Louise Richiuts.

Her Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007 at 1 pm in the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. Visiting hours are Friday, 5 to 8 pm.
