Mrs. Patricia M. Getz of Andover, beloved wife of Patrick Kasianchuk, died at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, on January 30, 2007, following a lengthy illness.
She was 57 years old.
Born in East Orange, New Jersey, on October 29, 1949, she was the beloved daughter of Edward and Helen (Mucha) Getz of Irvington, New Jersey. Ms. Getz was raised in Irvington, New Jersey and was a graduate of Douglas College in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She worked as a DSS Social Worker in New Jersey and Vermont. She also worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Nixdorf Corporation in Burlington, Massachusetts and Comverse Technology in Wakefield.
Besides her beloved husband, Patrick and loving parents, Edward and Helen (Mucha) Getz, Ms. Getz will be sorely missed by one son; Michael Kasianchuk of Andover, two brothers; Edward Getz of Mendota Heights, Minnesota and Stephen Getz of Hockessin, Delaware and several nieces and nephews. She was also the loving sister of the late Christine Getz.
Her funeral service was celebrated in the Chapel as West Parish Garden Cemetery in Andover, on Friday, February 2, 2007, at 11 AM. Many relatives and friends attended. Calling hours were Thursday, February 1, 2007, in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, from 4 to 8 PM. Burial was in West Parish Garden Cemetery, Andover.
