Charles J. “Charlie” Battaglia, 25 of Manchester, NH died November 4, 2006 at his home. Charlie was born in Warwick, NY on August 9, 1981 a son of Ross and Betsy Battaglia. He had resided in Manchester for the past two years, formerly living in Derry for many years. Charlie attended Derry schools and was a 2001 graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Derry.
Charlie was passionate about his pets and loved all kinds of animals. His “kids” were his dogs, Chewy, Bailey and Cooper, along with his cat Simon. Charlie also had a great love for his family.
He is survived by his parents of Derry, his siblings, Ross Battaglia, Jr. of Virginia, Stephanie McLean of Phoenix, AZ, Liz Amato of Berlin, NH, Michelle Deyermond of Concord, NH, Anthony J. Battaglia of Derry, Christine Battaglia of Nashua, NH, his paternal Grandmother, Angie Battaglia of Winthrop, MA, also many aunts, uncles, five nephews, four nieces and many cousins.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday, November 8th from 4 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry.A mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Thursday at 1:00pm at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry, with burial following in Forest Hill Cemetery, E.
