Obituary

WEBSTER – Bernard Dudek, 94, formerly of 69 Lake St., died Thursday, Oct. 12, in Webster Manor. His wife, Sophie F. (Motyka) Dudek, died in 1983.

He leaves a sister-in-law, Doris Dudek of Ipswich; nephews and a niece, including Thomas Dudek of Ipswich and Eugenia Young of Brookline.

He was born in Worcester, the son of Stanley and Mary (Kucinska) Dudek, and lived here most of his life.

Mr. Dudek was a machine operator at Cranston Print Works Company for many years before he retired in 1976. In his retirement, he volunteered as the custodian of the Polish American Citizens Club for many years. He was a longtime member of the PACC.

A memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, October 16, in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St. A calling period will be from 11:00 to 11:30 AM Monday, Oct. 16, in the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Fuenral Home, 340 School Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. Donations in his memory may be made to the Webster Manor Patient Activities Fund, 745 School St., Webster, MA 01570.
