Thomas Danson, 88, of Derry, NH, died Sunday April 13, 2025 in his home with family by his side. He was born on March 8, 1937 in Bolton, England, a son of the late Sidney and Edith (Miller) Danson. Having been raised and educated in Great Britain, he moved to Arlington, MA in 1968 and had been a resident of Derry since 1974. He was self employed as a tool and die maker, owning Sterling Grinding.
He is survived by his sons, Russell Danson and his wife Jane of Essex, VT, Neil Danson and his wife Linda of Manchester, NH; his daughter, Sarah Ladue and her husband James of Derry; his grandchildren, Patricia, Brandon, and Kimberly; several great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews in England. He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley Ann Danson in 2019, and his brother, Norman Danson.
Following cremation, the family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry are assisting with the arrangements.
